Breakdown of the SAT Math Sections Today I would like to tell you exactly what types of math problems to expect on the SAT. This information comes right from the College Board. The information I give here will probably be enough for most of you, but if you want more information right from the College Board, you can download the full document here: About the SAT Math Test There are two math sections on the SAT: one where a calculator is allowed, and one where a calculator is not allowed.
